Our friends at Deerfoot Lodge & Resort generously donated $1,700 to support the Shue’s Pond Restoration Project in downtown Hayward. This incredible gift represents proceeds raised by the 2025 Ladies Musky Fishing School participants, supporters, and event sponsors — a true testament to what community-minded anglers can accomplish together.
 

We’re so grateful for Deerfoot’s leadership and commitment to making fishing more accessible for families, women, and kids. The restoration of Shue’s Pond will bring new life to one of Hayward’s most cherished public fishing and recreation spaces, and we’re thrilled to see this project moving forward.
